Flaske 0,33l kjøpt på bryggeriet og delt med Rune på Keizsershof Hotel i Aalst 1 Mai 11. Aprikosfarget. Veldig uklar. Litt skum. Krydderaroma. Smaken litt krydder & litt frukt. Litt mye kullsyre. Krydret ettersmak.

Bottle, served at the brewery. It pours a big, white head over a hazy, golden-orange body. Alcohol, fruityness, orange, hops and some yeast notes on the nose. The flavor has a fine bitterness towards the end, with the same fruityness and alcohol found in the aroma. Full body, pleasant carbonation and a smooth warming sensation on the palate. Except for a bit too evident alcohol, it’s a nice tripel. 110430

330 ml bottle at hotel room in Aalst. Hazy orange body with a white head. Aroma feels like sweet and spicy citric fruit, slightly funky and almost a bit perfumed. Flavor is sweet and harsh, citric and spicy. Drinkable but not really anything to applaud. Sorry, I like this brewery.

330ml bottle bought at the brewery and shared with Finn. Rocky, white head, opaque golden-grey body. Smell of sweet wheat and fruits. Citrus to the taste buds added by spices, yeast and alcohol. So and so (hotel room, Aalst 01.05.2011).

Bottle. Pours murky olive brown. Off white head. Nose of earthy grass and dirt, yeast, malt and spicy hops. Taste is the same. Muted and dirty. Odd for a tripel.

Bottled (from beerplanet.eu). Orangeish golden colour with some slight hazy, mediumsized white foamy head that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet bready malts along with some spicyness and mild notes of alcohol. Flavour is sweet malts, some slight alcohol, mild spices, earth and some slight yeastyness. Also some sweet sugary notes.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a big and blond, slowly lacing foamy head. Yeasty and moderately sweet and bready malty aroma with apricot- and lemon-fruity notes. Sweet flavour, almost full bodied with a pleasant carbonation. Slightly sugary bready malty taste with notes of lemon, leading into a sweet-bitter slightly hoppy and spicy finish with a well-masked alcoholic strength. Not very complex but clean and easy-going. 27.XI.10

Bottled 330ml (Beer Planet, bottled 03/2010)
Slightly hazy amber color, steady white head. Apricot fruityness, some fruit sugars and a bit paper in the nose. Medium to full bodied. Quite similar to "Den Tseut" but less yeasty and a bit more alcoholic and but more balanced. Alcohol, apricot fruityness, hops and sweetness. Lingering hoppyness and fruit sugars in the aftertaste.

04/08/2010 - 33cl bottle (aged 1 year )@ home

Pours a cloudy orange beer, with a big rocky white head that disappears rather quickly. Smell is spices, nice hoppy and some citrus and orange. Mouth feeling is full and round, even a little creamy. Tastes a little bit of caramel, alcohol sweetness, spices and hops. Aftertaste is fresh hop bitter, somewhat caramel and a fair amount of citrus. Very balanced and enjoyable. I'll drink this again.
