Bottle. Pale golden color, hazy. Pineapple aroma. Pineapple, citrus and earthy hops and melon in the flavor. Alcoholic. Some oily hops coming up in the finish, next to the fruit. Thinnish.

Tripel from the Meetjesland region since 2009, with thin, cream white head and cloudy peach blonde colour. Aroma dominated by a sweet-spicy cinnamon effect, pear, grass, bread, ’speculaas’, vanilla, apple sauce, field flowers. Sweet fruity taste of pear and apricot, gingerbread-like cinnamon quickly appearing, some yeasty spiciness, caramel malt base with light nutty flavour, finish unfortunately with badly hidden, nearly acerb alcohol.

Bottle shared. Pours murky golden brown with yeasty flakes. Aroma of caramel malt, biscuit, light spice and butterscotch. Flavour is over moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light moderate carbonation.

33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. Very thin white head. Cloudy golden blond pour. No bitterness at all. Nice enough triple though

Golden colour, white foam. Strong carbonation. Balanced sweet/bitter with some spices. Too much carbonation.

Typical Belgian tripel, from a very small homebrewery. Nice to drink for one time only, just for the tick.

33cl from Dranken Geers, bottled on 09-2011, opens on a silent note, heralding nothing too good, indeed, one hell of a flat beer.

Bottle @ home. Cloudy, hazy yellow color, decent sized creamy white head. Lots of yeast particals floating around. Smell sweet, some spices and herbs. Taste sweet, hints of fruit, lightly herbs. Low carbonation, low to medium body.
