Not very brune.. Tastes like it should, though. Malty, caramelly, semi sweet, with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Not very interesting, but drinkable enough.

At Pub Grain d'Orge, Hombourg. Shared with Anke.
Pours hazy amber with a lasting, frothy, off-white head. The aroma contains malt, caramel, cookie dough, some spices. It tastes medium sugary sweet and light hoppy bitter; slightly metallic. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Run-of-the-mill Abbey Dubbel, almost industrial.

*Old rating. Best before Nov/Dec 12. Nussig-süffiges, nicht zu tiefes Bier. Moderate Herbe, Karamell, brauner Zucker, verbrannte Noten. Rund, aber nicht sehr tief.
