Bottle. Dark brown color. caramel and cardemom in the aroma. Sweet, slightly alcoholic, spicy flavor with caramel, anis, cardemom. The spices ruin the balance a bit.

Clear reddish brown colour, beige head. Malty aroma, caramel, older hops, light chocolate. Light sweet, light bitter flavour, chocolate, caramel, raisins. Finish raisins, caramel, bitter hops. Didn’t age too bad for a dark IPA, actually.

bottle, traded with someone, but - sorry - I forgot who sent me this :( Deep brown, wlmost black, with resiny hops in the nose. Starting with dark, dark malts and very low sweetness, becoming more and more hoppy. Resiny and slightly fruity hops dominate.

Decent Black IPA. It’s all a bit too modest and flat. Could use more hops and roast.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a cloudy dark brown with a thin tan head. The aroma is dominated by the yeast. The flavour is medium bitter, yeasty, with a slightly oily, acidic feel to the palate. The bitterness lingers for a while into the aftertaste. A super satisfying beer!

33cl Bottle from ABC Beers. Hazy dark brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of yeast, ripe fruits like banana and red apples, dark fruits, not very hoppy. Flavour is sweet, malty, fruity, yeast, ripe dark fruits, light hoppy bitter with a hint of liquorice. Light to medium-bodied. A fruity and yeasty Belgian ale in my book.

Sampled @ PINT Winterbierfestival, Gouda 2012. Cloudy hazy amber brown color, decent sized off-white head. Smell lightly malts, sweet and lightly hoppy. Taste malts, lightly hops, lightly bitter. Average carbonation and body. Decent.
