On tap at rbwg. Pours out dark brown topped with a tan head. Nose is peat smoke roast malts some barrel. Taste is more of the past malt smoke notes some campfire chocolate and barrel.

Keg at Ratebeer Best Beer Festival. 31/01/2016. A jet black coloured pour with a lasting mid tan head. Aroma is tcp phenols, medicinal, smoked peat, brown sugars. Flavour is composed of medium sweet malts, brown malts, big medicinal tcp smoked malts, peaty, Palate is full and creamy, medium sweet, moderate carbonation.

On tap at Ratebeer Best. Pours black with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong roast, smoke, ash, wood, bourbon. Thick, chewy, smoke, roast, wood, boozy finish, good.

Keg at the RateBeer Best festival 2016. Pours deep black with a creamy, tan head. Strong smoked malts in the nose. Big sweet flavour, with mesquite smoke, sugary chocolate. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary sweet finish, a little sticky, with more heavy smoke character. Good stuff overall.

Keg at RB Best Festival, 31/01/16. Black topped with a dirty tan head that retains well - a real looker of a beer Nose is light smoked malt, charr, dark fruit rinds, light cocoa. Taste comprises smoked meats, spice, chocolate, fruit cake, charr. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid well balanced smoked porter.

Tap at RateBeer Best 2016. It pours black with a bubbly, light tan head. The aroma is smoky with some peat and tobacco. The flavor is also full of peat smoke, juicy tobacco, campfire smoke and light tartness. Roast near the finish. Barrel notes are covered by the peat smoke. Fully bodied and rich for the ABV. I usually don’t like peat smoked beers (not sure if this is, but it tastes like it) but this one is pretty rad. Well done.

Draft sample @ Warszawski Festiwal Piwa 2015. Brune foncée, col fin blanc-cassé voire café au lait. Arôme donne de suite un côté funk sur un malté fumé modéré et accompagné de belles effluves de barrique notamment de barrique pour une touche de vanille. Tout cela est compensé par un malté agréable assez doux rappelant le chocolat au lait, et un brett qui reste cependant discret. Palais est légèrement aigrelet, brett, sur des notes de fumé, l’alcool n’est pas en reste,c e qui est peu dire vu que les bières polonaises tendent à rester assez légères. Malt foncé avec un léger fruité noir et une barrique arrivant plus en retrait. Le tout, au niveau fruité pourrait s’apparenter à des prunes fumées.
