Colasvart med lavt beige skum som forsvinner fort. Lukter røde bær, kirsebær, trevirke og vanilje. Middels til fyldig. Lett bitterhet. Kjenner fatlagringen, trevirke og vanilje. Vinøs, tørr, lett bitter avslutning.

Bottle from Birratrovo, Como; bottle 451/600
Dark brown color, small head. The Schwarzbier is dominant, there is a light cask aroma and light vinous flavor, high carbonation.
Probably not the best choice of beer to barrel age, still it’s a good beer.

Bouteille 37.5cl d’Astral Beers, Bologna. Bottle # 251/600, BB 31/12/2018, lotto#288. De couleur brune foncée, col épais blanc-cassé assez crémeux. Arôme offre de fines notes de vin rouge avec un rétro malté caramel et grillé assez agréable. Ressent bien ce petit ôté boisé ’cask’ dont le côté vin reste discret mais apportant son lot d’effluves fruitées. Petit ajout citronnée des houblons, Palais reste léger avec un profil vin Merlot subtil sans jamais devenir trop dominant. Une fine amertume perce en fin de bouche ajoutant un petit côté houblonne amer noble. Bière reste correcte quoique un tout petit peu plus du profil vin aurait été bienvenu.

Clear purple brown beer, bit creamy irregular head, pretty stable, bit adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very floral, almost soapy, some orange peel, funky touch, citrus, bit vinous. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: little sourish, some summer fruits, soapy bitterness, pretty spicy. Aftertaste: some tannins, orange peel, bitter, soapy, wood touch, bit of white wine.
