Each time that I drank this beer, my first impression was good, nice malty taste in the mouth but disappearing quickly and finishing watery, drinking it in 2016, from the denner supermarket, tasting it at Prélaz.

Old rating from Feb 2002. 500ml bottle on my Chateau-D'Oex visit, pours golden with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, cereal, bread, hay, herbs, hints of spice & malt. Moderate body. Dry mild bitter finish

The beer is a light gold color, with a large white head. The taste starts out bready with a thin malt character and flavors of grain and adjuncts. The hops presence is extremely mild but there is some balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet. Not very flavorful, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, good rep of a lackluster style.

Bottled. A hazy light yellow beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and citrus. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and citrus, leading to a dry straw finish. Thanks KimJohansen for sharing.
