Clear gold, firm fine head, nose of refined grain and caramel with light hop spiciness. Nice earthy-lemon bitterness, very smooth and long lasting until it slowly fades to a biscuity sweet aftertaste. That's a pretty good blonde for a mass produced (?) one I see in so many supermarkets.

Old rating - A 750ml bottle from Normandy back in 2013, Notes from the following year. Pours a deep amber with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, apple, spice & sweet malt. Very good Biere de Garde.

Sharing this beer with Stéphane along the Seine, yesterday, at Paris. Much better than the fischer. A beverage on the Belgian way, boozy, malty, fruity, subtle touch of sweetness, regular hop, pleasant at the palate, a typical Belgian ale, 17.04.2022.
