Was the house beer of bistro "De Skieven Architek" in the Marolles neighborhood of Brussels. Discontinued when the bistro closed down in 2013. The bistro claimed it was an original recipe, but it seems more likely that this was just another alias of classic Piraat.

Draught. 10.5%, many years ago at ’t Schieven Architek - finally someone added it to the database. Weak spicy aroma, slightly peppery. Almost clear, dark golden colour. Very nice, stable, creamy white head. Quite peppery flavour and aftertaste. A bit anonymous, but still nice.

33cl bottle @ In’t Schieven Architeck Dorée présentant un léger trouble, col blanc crémeux. Arôme est fruité, pointe d’esters et houblon nobles dans le style belge. En bouche, épais avec un alcool bien présent, malt pâle sur ce profile de bouche très belge, pointe fruitée allant sur des esters et une fin de bouche épicée. Reste banale sans plus à la limite de l’ennuyant.

250ml on tap at De Skiven Architek. Thin layer at the top of a cloudy, orange coloured body. Dry smell of yeasty fruitiness. Quite well balanced taste character of fresh and dried fruits. Strong aftertaste. Noticeable alcohol, but not overdone. Refreshing after strolling around at the flea market near by (Brussel, 06.05.2011).
