12 oz. bottle. I’m about to pop the cap and rate live, and try to be open-minded. Light, slightly crisp beer smell under the cap. The Goose Island 312 glass seems appropriate. Pours a slightly hazy yellow, a few bubbles, under thick, yellowish head. Very light wheat beer smell in the glass, not a lot of spices here. The taste just can’t get away from being somewhat watery. More like a poor man’s 312 than a Blue Moon, actually. Very little malt sweetness, offset by very few hops. I guess they thought the answer to Blue Moon was a "light" version. Sorry, this just doesn’t cut it.

Bottle. Very light orange and coriander aroma. Hazy orange-yellow color with minimal head. Wheat malt flavor with very slight orange and coriander. More flavor than most AB products - may be useful as a gateway beer.

First impression was a nose full of acetaldehyde, even more than I usually detect in A-B products. Flavor was more like a typical american wheat but not with a big wheat presence. Moderately zesty, fairly clean except for the aceltadehyde. Didn’t taste any of the spices. Hazy bronze color, moderate foamy head.

Bottle. This beer is best described as being not a wheat beer that happens to be on the same label as Bud Light, but that it’s just the Bud Light formula with "wheat flavors" added to it. I don’t rate this poorly because it’s Anheuser-Busch, but because it’s truly a bad beer.

Lightly hazy golden orange with a large white head. Spicy aroma with some citrus, yeast and wheat. Thin body. Flavor is a bit harsh on the spice, but not all that flavorful. It’s all right.

Bottle. Pours like a hefe: a big fluffy head, which dissapates quickly, sits atopa lovely, hazy golden body. The aroma, though, bears little resemblence to a wheat beer. If I try really hard I can detect a little yeast and some orange zest, but it’s very faint. The flavor, too, is faint. Weak and faint. A little spice there and a touch of breadiness. The mouthfeel is nice. Bubbly and smooth, this Bud fits in with the rest of its kin. Finish is average. A slightly metallic and grassy aftertaste. For a light beer making an attempt at the wheat beer style, this isn’t undrinkable.

AB is really penetrating the microbrew and import market and doing a decent job. Some of the Mich beers aren’t too bad. This is a 12 oz twist off. Ok, some sediment on the bottom. Not sure if its yeast er not. Some swirl from the gunk in an otherwise pale lager appearance. Nice thin creamy head. First taste takes a while for a little tartness to set in. The nose is micro-brewish. Yes that tartness is almost impressive, yet mild and behaved. Cost is less than $1!. Typical wheat beer, almost wit bier, taste alrighty. Without any ale negative attributes. Good unnasty beer session. A very refined wheat beer experience, perhaps better than the mich bavarian wheat. On line with better blue moon products. Perhaps a little processed, but just barely. Dude, almost makes me forget about the wit beer belgium brews for twice or three times the price. Approved, but I’m a lager lover.

Location: A few sips from a 12 oz bottle someone brought to a party, 10/31/09

Overall Impression: Lets just say those few sips were enough for me...
The scores seem high to me, this crap tasted like Bud Light, except hazier. I mean, I'm scoring this one for it really is, a weak offering.
