Re-rating (previous 3.4) Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 18B). Can 35.5 cl - batch 149 (BBF unknown - Canned on ??/01/20). AROMA: medium oxidized hop aroma (isovaleric, slight pine). medium-low toffee-like malt background. APPEARANCE: amber color and clear. medium off-white head with good retention. TASTE: medium-low to low hop flavor with a pine character and oxidation (isovaleric). medium-low to low malt background with a toffee-like character. medium to medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish and a slight note of hay. PALATE: medium-light body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an american pale ale with its color almost at the amber ale range, reflecting its malt flavor. The hops are oxidized.

Pours a smooth orangey copper with excellent foam, smells of soft vegetal hops and couch farts. Flavour is good maltiness with some nice piney hops; not working exceptionally well together but still pretty decently mended. Nice full mouthfeel with great oiliness. For a macro pale ale it's all kinds of good, there are better ones out there for sure but perhaps none as ubiquitous as this one.

Can. Pours clear dark orange with a thick offwhite head. Aromas of malt, earthy notes, resin, citrus, hops. Taste is malty as fuck, citrus, dry, resin, orange peel, hops. I dont know how old this was, but my guess is pretty fucking old.
