This was a pleasant surprise that I found at Lock 6 in Industry. On tap. Smells like many other fests. Brown with a creamy foamy head. Taste is quite hoppy for a fest beer, more like stronger APA or mild IPA. Barely any CO2. Medicinal finish. Oh, I see its listed as a vienna even tho MH calls it an octoberfest.

Pours clear copper with white head. The mild aroma seems to lightly swirl with notes of caramel, sweet malts, sugar coated red apple wedges, a touch of citrus cotton candy and some herbs. The taste is pretty rich with sweet caramel, sweet malts, stewed raisins, ripe red apples, spiciness and some yeast too.

Bottle. Pours a thickish orange/dark amber with a small head and heavy aromas of malt, grain dust and dark honey. Flavor is very sweet... apple juice concentrate, honey, dough... Not much else going on that I’m inclined to comment on, but I like this one.

Sample at Barley’s Smokehouse. The beer is a clear orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes to an outer ring quickly. Spotty lacing. Mild hops and toasted malt aroma. Light to medium body with flavors of sweet malt, hops and touches of fruit. The finish is caramel malt with a sweet aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.
