Bottle 12 fl oz at Sweet & Sour, Sätila, 2014-08-30. Thanks to rlgk!Clear straw yellow color, no head. Vanilla, kladdkaka scent, some alcohol. Kladdkaka, dry, alcohol taste. Custard aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, no bitterness.A bit like some sort of dessert.

Bottle courtesy of rlgk. Pours pale golden with no head and subtle legs. Smell is sweet with honey, charred wood, vanilla beans, alcohol and hay. Taste is sweet with honey, vanilla hay, dry soil, butter, charred wood, toasted coconut and alcohol. Mouthfeel is slightly dry, tiny watery, boozy and medium bodied. Finish is sweet with honey, vanilla, charred wood, butter, hay, toasted coconut and alcohol. Strange and way too hot…

Recent vintage shared by jackl. Thanks! Pours a clear golden color, moderate legs. Aroma of intense vanilla, honey, bourbon, booze, floral notes, mild earth and fruity notes. The taste is vanilla, honey, earth, melon, stone fruits, citrus, whiskey. Medium bodied, very, very hot.

Bottle @ Dan’s home, courtesy of doodler. Clear, light golden appearance with no head. Strong vanilla, cinnamon, intense cinnabon aroma. Sweet vanilla frosting, cinnamon, sweet, light honey flavor. Scott is an above average gentleman.

Big vanilla aroma and flavor. Sweet aroma, but flavor was not very sweet at all for a mead. The vanilla works well. High drinkable. Thanks to whomever shared this.

Big thanks to HOPSHUNTER for the share. Pours water clear with faint gold hues and somewhat sexy legging. The aroma is sweet richness with sludgy honey, mild vanilla, a musty muted aged oak note and mild sweet berry notes. The taste I is yummy slick smooth goodness with honey mixed mild notes of bourbon, vanilla and a sense of oakines too. Around the edges are light notes of sweet berries.

Dog Days of Summer Gathering, thanks hopscotch. sticky golden lots of vanilla goodness, boozy, honey, some medicinal flowers, getting some banana like puree, weak barrel presence. Enjoy the vanilla, but it’s so intense that it must be extract and not from teh barrel as I had anticipated. Tasty a little on the boozy side, reducing some o the experience.
