12 fl oz bottle. Pours dark brown to pitch black with a small tan to brown head. Aroma is roasted malty and light peanutty. Light chemical and citric. Wineous, paint and chemical. Citric and dry malty.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours an opaque black with a small, dissipating beige head. Very odd but interesting aroma, peanut not so much as overripe raisins. Medium body, very rustic tart raisins and a litlte wood. Again I don’t pick up any peanut whatsoever - more tart cherries. No real bitterness. An interesting infection this time from Shorts! 030612

Deep dark brown coloured body with a very thin, very fast-dying tan head. Aroma of odd rubber, alcohol, anise, medicinal and funky malt smells with perhaps a hint of peanuts, sweetness and more licorice. Medium-bodied; Assertive odd funky malt flavours at first with a taste of balloons (inflating), alcohol, nuts, resin and some odd funk. Aftertaste shows some odd flavours still, with a touch of anise and other spices. Overall, easily the worst from Short’s that i’ve had, and although not a horrible beer, one that I will not tell others to buy nor drink. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 16-January-2011 for US$2.59 sampled at home in Washington on 27-November-2011.

This brew pours a dark mahogany brown color with a medium light beige head that recedes quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of peanuts and chocolate malt. Medium body with flavors that a a fairly radical departure from the smell. Notes of solvents undermine the roast malt and peanut butter flavors. Either something got into this batch or this beer needs an overhaul. Fairly disappointing beer from a brewery that has otherwise impressed me thus far.

Courtesy of markwise. Thanks! Pours a pretty dark mahogany with thin mocha like head. The aroma is just about like opening a fresh jar of car trunk warmed peanut butter. I really don’t get much else beyond the legume-ness. The taste isn’t as all encompassing ‘peanut’ as the nose with peanut butter, some mild chocolate, nutty maltiness and malts. It has a mild level of spicy hops that seems to reside around the edges of the flavor.

Bottle thanks to Styles. Pours black with brown head. Strong nose of freshly cooked peanuts, chocolate malts and coffee. Taste is sweet chocolate malts and peanuts. Hint of vanilla and coffee. Lightish body.

bottle thanks to StFun, opens with a loud hiss and a dark brown head shooting out of the bottle. The head leaves a black body, this stuff is lively. Aroma is roasted barley, burnt sugar, red wine. Flavor is sour red wine and peanut shells, bitter and vinous, a very strange mix.

12 ounce bottle cracked open by some new and old friends. Thanks! I guess this is an infected bottle, but for me, it worked very well. Pours a very dark brown color with a medium tan head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, peanuts and cherries. The taste is quite tart, with notes of green apple and cherry, as well as peanuts, butterscotch and chocolate. Smooth, medium bodied.

This was the 3rd Shorts beer we had and was told that Shorts had a large amount of infected Uber Goobers. Unfortunately this beer was infected and I hate to say it, but a drain pour.....

courtesy of tpd975 pours dark brown/black, thin mocha head. Again this was a very fizzy beer, similar in disappointment to their PB&J. Aroma, light roast, malty, peanut was actually more present than PB&J. flavor, peanut flavors, some roasted caramel malts, hints of chocolate, lingering sourness, a beer that just went wrong. Overly infected
