At Borefts 2016. thnx for sharing,everyone ! Pours black, small grey head. Smell is creamy, dark malts. taste is sharp, bitter, dark malts. Very creamy. OK , to one-dimentional for me though ( only roasty bitterness )

On tap at Borefts ’16. Black colour, beige-brown head. Aroma of roast, coffee and cream, butter (in a good way), coffee. Flavour is dry, roasted malts, coffee and cream, some caramel, coffee, bitter finish. Medium bodied. Tasty classic (English-style) stout.

At Borefts 2016. Aroma of coffee and licorice. Taste has mostly licorice, creamy coffee and some malt. Bit simple and too much licorice, they should stick to sours.

van tap @Borefts 2016,zwart met kaki kraag. aroma van vanille, chocolade, geroosterde en gebrande mouten. Smaken van chocolade, redelijk dik van textuur, vanille, geroosterde en gebrande mouten, drop, matig zoet, toffee, rood fruit, redelijke body, zachte co2.

Tap. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is sweet, chocolate, some oil aroma. Taste is dark, a bit mystic, chocolate, molasses, sweet. Just slightly tart, a bit boozy finish, but just a bit. Very nicely balanced and very good.

Very soft, creamy. Sweet, caramel and candied sugar, nothing overpowering. Vanilla, barrel. Amazing balance.

On tap @ Borefts 2015. As good as jet black this one and on top there's a nice medium sized deep dark chocolate brown head. It smells a bit burnt. Caramel burnt with butter, milk stouty in a way and burnt wood. Dark, really dark, near ashy, but it's also a little sweet. Marshmallow sweet in a way. It has a high bubbly carbonation level and a mild oily texture. Like the taste also. Roasted, a bit lighter on the mouthfeel than I thought actually. Quite dark in the taste also. Cocoa powder with tones of alcohol and wood. Nice. 25.09.2015

2012 sample at the Barrel House. Brown-black color with a medium foamy beige head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Roasted coffee, malt and chocolate in the nose. Medium body with flavors of chocolate malt, vanilla, coffee and licorice. The finish is sweet with a vanilla mocha aftertaste. Really good beer all around.
