On tap at Crowbar, Oslo. Pretty much black body with a fairly decent beige head. Mild roasty notes, some licorice, earthy and fruity notes and yeast. Feels a bit strong, but works out fairly well in the end. Moderate to medium sweet with some slightly sour notes. Quite okay.

Fra fat på Circus, Stavanger: brunsvart, med kort skum. Aroma av våt skogbunn og kokte grønnsaker. Syrlig smak med litt beske undertoner, som halvvisne mørke bær. Noe krydder sniker seg også inn. Dessverre ga den meg ingen mersmak.

Black. Aroma of boiled vegetables, peas. Flavour has light spice and yeast. Not quite right.

Borefts VII. Day 1. Keg. Almost opaque dark brown beer, thin pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry. Thin dark malts. A tang that gets a little sour. Little herb. Light dry finish. Okay.

Nice light brown creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet roasted, dark malts, roasted grain, hay, sour-ish coffee, minerals, paper, sugar, dark malts. Taste is slightly sour-ish dry, roasted grain, weeds, yeast, paper, grass, minerals, sour-ish coffee, hay, bark, flowers. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and sour-ish mouthfeel. Fair enough.

[9/25/15] Draught sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2015 in Bodegraven. Dark brown. Aroma of caramel, dark fruits, spice. Sweetish-spicy flavor with caramel, fruitiness, tart hint. Medium-bodied.

From tap at Ølfestivalen Nærbø 16.10.15 with ABE and OGJ. Dark brown. Brown head. Aroma and taste of dark malt, with a hint of Belgian yeast, brett and spices. Medium bitterness.

Keg at BBF 7, Bodegraven, 26/09/15. Light black topped with a decent tan swirl and edgeing. Nose is straw, spice, biscuit, light herb, toffee. Taste comprises dark berry fruit, earthy, damp straw, farmy, bitter licks. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough dark saison.

Sampled @ Borefts 2015. Opaque black color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste dark malts, some roast, "oud broodkorstje", dark malt bitter. Decent body, medium carbonation. Ok beer.
