Bottle. A- Soy sauce, mild smoke, ash, cocoa. A- Black color, black liquid, light brown head. T- Soy, smoke, char, cocoa, mild bitterness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Pleasantly surprised by this one. Filled with smoke and soy but it was very nuanced and balanced. Nothing overpowered and it was certainly far from a smoked beer but those flavors managed to stand out in a subtle way. Nicely done.

Black with a large solid off white head - Roasted malt aroma - Roasted malt body that has some sournotes in it and there is some ashy notes as well - The unplesant sourness goes into the finish - This was not good because of the sourness that is in there

Draught @ Stone 17th Anniversary
Pours dark brown with a light tan head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, pine and hint of chocolate. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long caramel and fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

22 oz bottle-trade with jtclockwork-pours black with a tight/rich light brown head with some trailing lace. Aroma is dark malt-roasty/chocolate, wood. Taste is rich oat/dark malt-roasty/anise, biting spice/resin hops, wood. The bite softens, or my palate acclimates for the 2nd 1/2.

Thanks to Armin for sharing - pours pretty thick and black - fairly intense beer, with strong chocolate and anise notes - very intense coffee, roast, char - bordering on ashy and tar-like, but some sweet vanilla tempers it a bit - okay, but a bit over the top and hard to drink more than a few ounces of.

Bottle thanks to a generous trader. Black. Tan head. Nose of rich chocolate, burnt malt, vanilla and coffee roast. Taste is roast chocolate, burnt malts, vanilla, burnt coffee and alcohol. Dry roast finish. Alcohol is a little to dominate on the palate for my liking.

Bottle: Pours a near black with a finger of creamy brown head. Nose is mostly cocoa with some roast and light coffee. Thick, silky mouthful is rich with chocolate and espresso. The roasty notes lie in the background and mesh well with the bittersweetness of the finish. Amazing body; thick and creamy. Very rich and overall well balanced.
