Belgian-style pale ale

Inspired by the fresh, sessionable beers on the Belgian dinner table, we’re bringing back a 2015 favorite. This hoppy Belgian-style pale ale is bright and flavorful with an assertive hop character. Jardinier is French for gardener, and this beer is a veritable garden of flavor— perfect for any occasion, casual or ornate.

Bottle from AA. Jammy orange nose, apricots, a bit creamy. Dry, with a touch of funkiness. Very dry flavor, yet floral and fruity. Low sweetness. Interesting.

Thanks KyotoLefty for sharing the bottle! Poured into a taster showing a finger of clean white foam and cloudy neon yellow. The nose is very floral with some light notes of sweet lemon and very light notes of Belgian yeast. The palate is moderately carbonated and medium bodied. Light Belgian yeast notes but not much else. Strong IPA bitterness on the finish. The bitterness seems out of my place and the rest of the flavors just don’t come together very well.

Bottle shared. Thanks Mark! Floral aromas with some citrus and grassy notes. Lovely Belgian yeast character on the nose. Dry on the palate with a pithy, peppery bitterness. Dry finish. Not bad.

Hazy golden color. Fairly hoppy nose that is herbal, fruity and a touch of Belgian yeasty funk. Very light body. Yummy stuff.
