Mother Kelly’s. Keg. Lightly hazy gold beer, patchy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and has decent fine carbonation. Thin malts, mild floral bitterness. Mild tropical fruit zing. Dry pithy finish. Modest bitter linger. Tidy.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s - London. Pours unclear orange-gold with a creamy, white head. Lovely aroma, with notes of zesty tangerine, rindy orange, pale bread. Light sweet flavour, fairly dry, with pithy citrus, mellow rindy bitterness, biscuit, melon. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced on the finish, with more citrusy hop character, pale bread sweetness, adequate rindy bitterness. Real easy drinking.

Keg @ Ölrepubliken. Pours hazy pale golden with a big frothy creamy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some thick lacing on the glass. Smell is fruity and grassy with crackers, white sourdough bread, grapefruit juice, mango, pineapple, freshly cut grass, pine needles, minerals, dew and lemon zest. Taste is slightly bitter, tiny malty, tiny fruity and slightly grassy. Mouthfeel is tin crisp, slightly round, tiny dry, slightly astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter with white sourdough bread, grapefruit, pineapple, moist grass, pine needles and zest. A step in the right direction malt-wise but needs a brighter hop profile. Bit too heavy on the chlorophyll green notes. --- Beer merged from original tick of Monkey Business on 17 Jul 2016 at 17:20 - Score: 7. Draught at Red Lion, Göteborg, June 2016.Hazy to cloudy pale golden color, decent sized white head. Hoppy, citrus, though one dimensional scent. Hoppy, citrus, nice taste, though no malt back bone coming through, also fairly short. Medium thin mouthfeel, medium low bitterness. Light, clean, thirst quenching, not terribly interestingtto sample, but nice to drink.
