Bottle picked up at Buchanan’s Bistro. It pours darkest brown with a small tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, earthy, cocoa, coffee grounds and earth. The taste is bitterish, mellow roasted malt, toasty, earthy, cocoa, light spice and decent hit of dark fruits. Finish is dry and toasty. Light - medium body and average carbonation. Easy - drinking low - abv stout. Not bad.
