250ml bottle as Monks Cafe Goose Island Bourbon County Stout, from trade with Omhper! Many many many thanks chap. Pours black with fast-receding head. Aroma is rich, decadent, booze-ridden chocolate cake. Taste is tar slick & oily. Smooth, bourbon-fused but not off-puttingly boozy. The bourbon merely radiates with it’s smooth vanilla and almond tones as the dark malts simmer in the background. This is serious stuff.

BCBS 2009 barrel aged for 5 years in its barrel and it shows. Second time I get to try this and bloody f it's good. Rivals KBBS in decadence
