Drop the dressing and ditch the pumpkin, Sweet Potato Casserole is fresh out of the oven and ready to party. This fall treat is just like moms used to make - only if moms had penchant for gooey marshmallow, fall spices, and gobs of sweet potato cavorting in one sinful glass. Bottoms up.

355ml Bottle (Thanks Ompher) - Amber in colour. Pumpkin, vanilla, brown sugar and cinnamon feature strongly in both the aroma and the taste. Not really picking up much sweet potato which is perhaps a blessing as I am not such a big fan.

Bottled, thanks hackobock! Hazy pale orange, mid sized head. Cinnamon aroma. Sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Sugar, cinnamon, pumpkin pie and grass. Mid bitter finish. Well made and edgeless, if it is certainly not my favourite style.

Thank you Mathieu87 & PriorL! 355 ml. bottle sampled @ “Mathieu’s house cooling party”. Hazy amber orange with little white bubbles. Nose is minty tooth paste (weird), sugar, candy, very sweet cinnamon & base sweetness that I could typify as sweet potato. Taste is weird, sweet mint upfront, followed by sugar, candy, massive almost artificial vanilla, cinnamon, toothpaste, sugar, very sweet finish, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, caramel & something that could definitely be sweet potato. Bit fizzy & light bodied. I love the sweet finish but the minty note makes this one really weird for me. Strange, partially good but not entirely successful for me.

Keg at Route CBC, CBC Clapham, 02/10/15. Translucent golden / orange coloured pour with a halo of lasting off white. Aroma is somewhat sweet, potato, veg, little cinnamon, toast, menthol. Flavour is composed of toast semi -sweet grains, potato, cinnamon toast and a drying finish. Palate is semi- sweet, moderate carbonation. Lingering cinnamon.

Sweet but palatable. High in alcohol content but the sweet potato flavor masks the alcohol nicely.

12 oz bottle brought from FL by my friends Shane and Julia. Poured a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma was sweet potatoes, sweet malt notes. Light caramel malt character. Flavor was sweet potato. Really tastes like it. Pretty impressed because it’s easy to drink without being sickly sweet.
