The Farang is a thai style tripel. Where the adding of galanga (a Thai version of ginger root) in this beer stimulates the spicyness, this is none the less a very easy drinkable.

Originally designed for a Thai restaurant. This beer travels all over the world
because of it's unique caracter.

No head left; hazy orange-ochre beer. Ginger/galangaroot, far-eastern spices, aromatic, lemongrass - nice! Again typical Thai flavours, as in a sauce or Thai soup. Underbuild are simple malty flavours. Light, but bit watery texture, but not empty. Excellent idea.

Sampled @ Bierfestival Brugge 2016. Thank you for sharing! Hazy orange with an off-white head. Nose is insanely Chinese medicinal, ginseng, herbal, grass, ginger, herbs,…. This is like standing inside a traditional Chinese medicine store & inhaling deep,… It also pretty much like that, Chinese medicinal herbs to the max, herbal, ginseng, ginger, plants,…. Body is medium to a bit fizzy. I have never had galanga before, one this is clear here & that is they added way, way, way too much of in here. Truly excessive, a small sip of this is enough, pretty much no drinkability here, drinking a full bottle of this must be really punishing. Goo maybe for really hardcore galangal lovers I suppose.

Leicht trübes dunkel orange goldenes Bier mit einer mittelgroßen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch floral hopfig, Gewürze, helles Malz. Geschmack süß malzig, floral hopfig, orientalische Gewürze.

Clear orange beer, creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: yeast, bit spicy, peach and apricot, quite some banana. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, lots of banana, yeasty, spices. Aftertaste: bit weird, spicy, yeast, pretty bitter, some banana peel.
