Aged in select rum barrels to add extra sizzle to the flavor of our multi-award-winning BORIS The Crusher oatmeal-imperial stout. The lively, spicy character of the rum barrel creates a wonderful, crisper overall taste compared to our standard Bourbon Barrel Aged BORIS stout. This is a great twist on our most popular barrel-aged beer!

Tap at Craft Clerkenwell. Aroma is great. Very oaty and bit boozy. Definite rum in there, also bit of plasticine, roast and sweetness. Taste is very nice. Very fruity, raisins, but some roast later on with a rum hint. Bit of caramel. Lot of deliciousness. Great stuff.

Bottle 65 cl. Pours cloudy and completely opaque black with a creamy, light brown head. Sweet vanilla in the nose, a little tar and smoke and distinct woody rum notes. Quite full a body, sweet roastet malt, vanilla and again smoke and tar. Has a light malt astringency. Lowish carbonation. Delicious. 241217

65 cl bottle @ lusikka
Aroma has licorice and some sharp-ish alcohol. Also rum. Flavour has licorice, rum, some coffee. Finishes with some alcohol tones. Rum dominates a bit too much here and this is also too sweet.
