Draught @ 5th Borefts Beer Festival 2013, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As The Kernel Biere De Table (Barrel Aged #4) ].Unclear hazy light to medium yellow color with a average, frothy - creamy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, fruity, soured milk. Flavour is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, sour, sour milk, fruity - citric, soured milk. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20130927]

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Traded for a big bag of wild garlic. Cloudy, straw colour. Thin, lasting, white head. Lemon. White pepper. Lightest hint of wood. Taste is dry. Light tartness. Fresh, lively palate. Dry, lemon pith on the finish.

@Borefts. Trübes goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig fruchtig, Citrus, würzig. Geschmack würzig malzig, Citrus, minimal bitter, hefig.

Bottle at home in London. Picked up at the brewery. Pours clear, very light yellow, mildly effervescent with a mellow, creamy white head. Lovely nose, lots of tangy lemon, some white grape. Light sweet flavor with a bit of woody bitterness, lightly juicy lemon, some straw. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Very clean finish, restrained lemony tang, faint funky sweat, very slight grass, hay. Quite delicate. Super drinkable.

Bouteille 33cl, merci Pierre. BB 12/06/2014. Dorée paille assez claire, col blanc léger. Arôme offre un bouquet léger au niveau du BA sur un côté raisin blanc moyen et un persistant bouquet frais fruité-boisé. Note néanmoins l’ajout de la version London sour et ce côté levure lactique. Palais offre une effervescence haute sur un profil plus aigre que les autres version de cette bière. Profil sec et légèrement houblonné sur un fini grains rustique et ce petit côté boisé de BA. Le côté lactique-aigre reste présent mais en retrait. Le caractère houblonné reste présent mais en plus discret que la version Hersbrucker.

Hazy yellow colour, white head. Aroma of apple, malts, yeast, quite funky. Bitter flavour, apple, apricot, very fruity. Bitter finish, apple core, lactic sourness reminding of Berliner Weisse. Nice beer, I guess the barrel mainly added funk, not a lot of wood notes.

On tap @ Borefts 2013. Looks amazing with its big dense bright white head that's lacing like a mad man. Smells of sour pickled white onions? Yeah, I think so. At least traces of just that. A little bit of sour apricots perhaps? It's not bad but hard to identify this aroma. Light oily on the mouthfeel, not directly watery but light and just below average with a small prickling carbonation level. Like the lemonade peel sourness in the taste. A little bit of farmhouse I think, but it's quite a easy drinking moreish beer this. Barreled? Could never have guessed that but its damn tasty! That's for sure. 27.09.2013

Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sour-ish fruity, light malts, citrus, wet grain, sour berries, sorrel, hay, grass. Taste is dry sour-ish, light malts, grass, wet hay, leafs, sour berries, oak, bark. Medium bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Nice.
