Bottle shared at RBBWG 2023. Opaque pitch black color, virtually no head. Aroma and flavor are malts, brown malts, soy sauce, very boozy tbh. Hmm alright.

Pours black, no real head. Scent is intense, roasty, chocolate, quite intense and anjoyable. Taste is full, intense, syrupy, sweet, intense chocolate, bit boozy, bourbon, silky smoothness. Lovely, absolutely lovely. Shows zero negative signs of age.

9/XII/23 - 1Pt. 6Fl. Oz. bottle from a trade, shared @ BBGG winter 23-24, BB: n/a (2023-1151) Thanks to Aaron for the trade!

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige to brown head, unstable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: alcohol, good roast, quite some coffee notes, little to no oxidation noticeable. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body, creamy texture. Taste: sweet start, a bit oxidized but not too much, lots of alcohol, dark chocolate, good deep roast, some vanilla notes, a bit earthy, some tobacco leaves, caramel. Aftertaste: good roast still, quite some coffee, alcohol, caramel, boozy, some soy sauce, sugary finish with alcohol warming the throat.

Licorice overdose, some aging notes starting to appear. 2018 vintage was better at MBCC 2019
