A really nice beer. Low carbonation, clean cranky buddy. Hits the barkeywine style jicely with that extra body from the oats. De spuyt ams

Bière 33 cl en canette métallique. Robe rousse trouble. Nez sur le caramel. Bière liquoreuse, beaucoup de sucre, rappelle un vin cuit. En bouche, faible carbonation, du caramel, du raisin, de la noix, notes épicées. Ma première oat wine, une agréable surprise.

30th November 2019 Can. Hazy amber - brown beer, bubbly pale tan head. Palate is fairly smooth and semi dry. The malts are smooth and have a light creamy sweetness, medium sweet tangy toffee and caramel. Modest ripe fruits bringing up the rear plus a touch of brighter dried fruits that lifts the whole taste profile. Some spice and characteristic barleywine warmth on the finish. No wow factor here but there is an assured smoothness and drinkability to this barleywine that makes it a tad too drinkable. Perhaps the pleasing oaty biscuit vibe and the accompanying sweetness. Nice job.

Hazy reddish brown beer, white head. Rich fruity smell. Tastes of Apple, hops, rich malt, caramel, perhaps a very light hint of chocolate. A nice bit of hoppiness too and there's a slight booziness to the aftertaste but not so much to make it harsh. Lovely.
