Wethersoon Autumn Beer Festival 2017. Cask @ Leeds Station Wetherspoon, Leeds. Clear copper-brown and certainly understated in terms of its name, however it is a pleasantly malty dark ale.

Dark color with a fine tan head. Looks nice. Ok lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Fine body for a 4,3% beer and a soft carbonation level. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Toffee, coccoa, mild roast and some coffee in the flavor.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol 11/10/2017. Deep brown in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Thin bodied beer, with some camp coffee, toasty malts and a sweet edge. So so.

Cask handpull at Knights Templar JDW London. Clear dark brown colour lasting bubbly beige head. Chocolate aroma oh wow this is poor in the mouth. Watery. Not much coffee not much chocolate. Watery poor condition. All over the place. A citrus edge that doesnt fit. Couldnt finish a half.
