Bottle shared with Vestergaard. Ma homeboy. Pours pitch black with a brownish head. Aromas of roasted liqorice, coffee and some sweet fruits. Dark chocolate. Bittersweet flavour, very roasted and slight fruitiness. Could have been stronger for my taste. Bitter and roasted finish. Very nice.

Keg at Old Coffee House. Dark brown black colour, small golden head. Aroma beefy, roasty. Taste is thick and smoky, bitter coffee, bit of cherry, savoury touch of dark choc. Meaty. Finish is lingering and bitter. Pretty thick. Quite nice. Initially hides booze, but it catches up quickly.

Taste malts, lightly roast, bitter, liquorice. Medium body and carbonation. Lingering roast, liquorice bitter. Quite nice.

Sampled draft @ ACBF 2015. Black mocha,… Thick roast, mocha, ground, liquorish, light molasses & umami. Taste is sweet mocha, molasses, huge bitter roast, ground, quite bitter. Thick body. A bit too bitter & roasted for me but still I rather liked. Didn’t pick up on cranberries. (Thanks for sharing people!!!)

Pitch black, oily almost. 2 finger total coffee head with tight bubbles. A bit of light citrus aroma. dense coffee and the espresso aroma is roasty but not intense. Taste is very flavorful. So much chocolate and fudge. some burnt charred oak, peat malt. finish is a little bit boozy. a little less alcohol would be nice but this is a good beer.

7/III/15 - on tap @ ACBF 2015 (Vichte) - BB: n/a (2015-335) Thanks to all for sharing today's beers!

Clear dark brown beer, creamy beige head, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very sweet, caramel, bourbon, vanilla, whisky, alcohol. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very roasted, caramel, sweet, bit sugary, alcohol, dried fruits, little bitter. Aftertaste: alcohol, roasted, lots of coffee, bit sour, cocoa powder. Very nice, but a bit too roasted for my flavour.
