Schenkt zwart met enorme bruine kraag. Aroma van vanille, suiker, koffie, geroosterde en gebrande mouten, erg veel chocolade, cacao, heerlijk. Smaken zijn wat droppig, lichte laurier, dunne gladde zachte smaken, erg veel chocolade, niet overdreven veel koffie, matig tot redelijk zoet, smooth, prima gebalanceerd, maar had van mij wel wat dikker qua textuur gemigen, desondanks gewoon prima smaken, matige body, zachte co2, prima --- Beer merged from original tick of Ööbik on 23 May 2018 at 14:14 - Score: 7

Opaque deep dark brown colour, average frothy tan head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Roasted malt aroma, cocoa, coffee, dark fruits, brown sugar, hint of vanilla. Taste medium sweet and bitter, chocolate, medium body, oily bit sticky texture, soft carbonation. More bitterness in sweetbitter aftertaste, cocoa, spicy notes, nice.

33cl bottle as a gift. Pours very dark brown, somewhere between mahogany and black. Aroma of roasted malt with notes of dark fruits, dark chocolate and licorice. Fairly sweet and quite flavourful, some bitterness in the finish. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. Decent, but not a favourite. --- Beer merged from original tick of Ööbik on 20 Jun 2015 at 19:11 - Score: 7

Bottle shared thanks to Deanso. Pours near black with a medium beige head. Aroma of malt upfront, cocoa, roast, light coffee notes and light caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. The vanilla comes out a little in the palate but not enough. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Pretty decent for the low ABV.
