High Wire is our tribute to the Pale Ales of the West Coast of America, beers unapologetically hop forward in character. Let your taste buds walk this test of balance. Mango, lychee and lip-smacking grapefruit flavours harmonise against a smoothly composed malt base, which develops into a crisply bitter finish. Are you ready for our tightrope of taste. .?

Can. nose is mango, lychee, caramel, faint hint of banana and cream. Taste is lychee, tropical fruits, pineapple, leading to a moderate pine bitterness, and grassy, malty caramel finish. Well balanced and perfectly executed.

Hazy gold with a loose white head. Bright aroma of kumquats, just ripe mango, lime, light bread. Light bodied, moderate carbonation. Very punchy fruit - citrus, lots of tropical fruit, some nectarine - with just enough malt behind. Bitterness doesn’t match the hop aromatics. Interesting how the softness of the malt makes it obvious that it’s English. Good.

the Sample from can @ Sur & Bitter, Sandnes. Pours hazy dark yellow, with a rocky head. Aroma is sweet hoppy bitter, with citrusy notes of orange peel and grapefruit, and tropical notes of peach, as well as malts with cereals. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is bitter hops, with resin, pine and citrusy notes of orange peel and grapefruit, as well as some notes of grass and wood. Dry, bitter wooden finish.

Pours slightly hazy light amber colour with small loose white head that quickly disapates. Tropical fruit and citrus aroma, mango, passionfruit and grapefruit. Light medium sweet taste, crisp, and citrus. Light bodied, very nice, might even be better on a warm summer’s day.
