A relatively light !PA with soft citrus and grassy hops and mild bready malt. The tastes are a bit muddled and bland. Not offensive, but not inspired either.

Christ, another greater Vancouver brewery. When will the Great Brewery Wars go down? Are there enough beer geeks to seriously keep like a dozen breweries going? We also got the whisky dudes, the wine snobs and the vodka ’bros along with all the non-drinking brethren so I quite frankly debate whether all of these folks can last a decade..... and I was born here and ain’t ever heard of no Dunlevy Street. Oh, Gastown area, I gets it. Well anyways this pours with an antique white head, orange body, lots of carbonation, satisfying malt and hop combination on the nose that indicates finesse and skill but nothing more... nothing world class, just adequate and certainly good, but not that "oh-my-god-I-must-buy-a-plane-ticket-good" sort of thing that ratebeerians look for; ooh, a decent flavour. Lots of malt with a hop finish, crisp but muddled, seems a bit of that west coast dampness going on, balanced but oyster-like like I should pull out my toque and wear it with pride. Medium finish, not as crisp as I would like. A good IPA but gets lost in its own details so much that I can’t say I would remember it, nor recommend it, to those eager beer drinkers on all corners of the planet just waiting for the right moment to buy a ticket and taste it for themselves. For those local to Vancouver, worth a spin for sure; but for the rest of you get thee to Belgium while you wait for the "big thing" from the west coast; I hope I’ll be aware when it arrives.

Bright amber. Medium head. Has a mellow fruity hop aroma. On the palate, a fair bit of malt chewiness, and it has some of that same fruity berryish hop character all the way through.
