This light sour ale showcases the souring power of lactobacillus and the great flavour and aroma of Amarillo hops. The ale is tart and refreshing with flavours and aromas of apricot, peach, melon and citrus.

Gold, white head. Lightly tart nose. Sour, but not overpowering with a light musty cat pissy hop finish. Interesting !!

Poured from 650mL bottle. Golden orange with off-white head. Aroma of soap and light citrus hops. Taste starts mild lactic sour with some white grape sweetness. Finish is bready and slightly watery, very subtle hops. Light oily texture.

Thanks for hauling the bottle halfway around the world Josh&Sunshine! Golden, low white head. Citric hop notes on a tart hay/barn malt base. Medium full dry/sour body. Lovely lemonny finish. Perfectly matches the Australian tropics, thanks guys!

Itβs nice to see hoppy sours popping up. Iβm for it. 10 oz pour at the Red Racer. Pours a bright golden with a thin oily head. Wheat strong aroma. Good sour up front, straw like grainy finish, and low bitter hops. Enjoying this beer for sure.

On tap. Pours a light amber with little head. Light aromas and flavors of fruity citrus. I did not get much from the Amarillo. A mild kettle sour.

Draft @ Alibi & the brewery. Dull gold. Thin head. Big hoppy nose with evident tartness. Clean sourness, lots of amarillo. Like a big berliner with a schwack of finishing hops...i can dig it.

Draft - Soapy and tart citrus. Clear gold with a decent white head. Light soapy tartness, white grape and funky cheese. I heard "cheesies" and that is all I taste.

Draught at the brewery
Deep blond color, hazy, with small head. The aroma is delicate, fruity, a bit funky, sour. Lean mouthfeel, very dry, the acidity level is moderate, with a well defined lactic acid character, lightly bready, a touch of sour fruits, and just hints of resiny and citrusy hops; refreshing and balanced, with enough acid astringency in the final. Excellent.

On tap at Powell Street, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Nose brings out prominent west coast hops upfront, with light tart citrus zest. Flavour is along the same lines, with loads of tart citrus zest upfront, backed by moderate hopping. Not complex in any way - it's quite one-dimensional. But it's clean and easy to drink. Not bad for what it is, just not very exciting.
