On June 20, 2015. At Bomber Brewing, in Vancouver, British Columbia.Clear copper color, teal head with lacing. Hoppy, fresh taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Hoppy aftertaste. Hoppy, citrus, light roasted scent.

Way over-carbonated, amber, cloudy with agitated yeast. Aroma has light anglohop spiciness. Earthy, light toastiness, dash of yeastiness. Not a bike route sort of beer, but like a new world old man bitter.

On tap at Bomber, pours a dirty orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out traditional English hops, bready malts, and even some hempy notes. Flavour is very hempy and skunky, unlike a traditional bitter. Very flavourful for a 3.9% session bitter, though not exactly what I seek in the style. Decent.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy light amber color with creamy head. The aroma is mildly fruity and dusty; it also reminds me of a freshly cut ash tree. Lean but not too weak; dry mouthfeel; caramel flavor, dusty, with vegetable edges; correct bitterness. Some astringency in the final, paper, too much yeast, traces of chicory.
Confused.
