Bottle - Dark toasty notes. Jet black with a rich beige head. Dark toast and a nice bitterness with a light mouthfeel. Exactly what it should be.

Sunny spring saturday afternoon, time for a beer! This one’s got good head with decent staying power, carbonated black body with a bit of effervescence.... or something. Aroma of molasses, caramel, chocolate cake. Flavour is a dry sweetened coffee bean, refined and defined. Very nice in fact, good balance and all that.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Near black with tan head. Roast malt aroma. Flavour has a dry roast malt, slightly ashy, with very subtle hints of nuts. Texture is very watery, thin.

Bottles @ Legacy, Persephone.
Medium brown, toast, brownies, nuts...the nose shows you a lot of malt complexity. Has the same chocolatey malt notes, nuts, full body, a nice complex czech cerny.

650mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small tan head. Aroma is very pleasant, bringing out notes of lightly ashy roasted malt -- just like a good schwarzbier should. Flavour is along the same lines, with dry ashy notes and medium roasted malt. Very dry on the palate, with no residual sweetness of fruitiness. A great by the books black lager.
