A blend of premium Belgian malts, plus German and Pacific Northwest hop varieties gives this luscious, copper-hued ale a wonderful complex aroma, a rich depth of flavour, and smooth drinkability. Editor's note: For some time it was "Red Truck Ale", rebranded "Red Truck Road Trip Amber Ale" in 2018.

On tap at Red Truck, pours a fairly clear amber with a small white head. Nose is restrained, with notes of toasted bready malt and very light floral hops. Flavour is similarly restrained, with toasted bready malt dominating with a tinge of caramel. Pretty boring stuff, but clean and balanced. Not exciting.

Light amber, light caramel nose, caramelly not real exciting. Real basic sweet amber.

Draft - Pale malts and light caramel. Clear copper with a decent white head. Caramel and a woody hop that has a slight bitterness. Not much depth here, very plain.

A reddish copper amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, smooth caramel malt with good grassy British hops, candy sugar, nice. In mouth, a smooth fruity malt with light tropical fruits, floral hops, nice. Cask Days 2013.

2014-09-08, cask at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver, as Red Truck Amber Ale, 7-4-7-4-15=37
Cloudy amber color with no head. Mild fruity aroma, lean flavor with some yeast, and good hopping, more fruity than bitter, a bit resiny.
Yeasty but good.

2008-07-17, draught at the brewpub, as Red Truck Ale, 6-3-6-3-13=31
Red amber color. It’s the twin sister of the Irish Honey Ale, but mellower, sweeter, more perfumy (so far, better) and a light breadish character.
