Horny Devil is our interpretation of a Belgian-style Golden Ale. Brewed with authentic Belgian ingredients including candi sugar and a Trappist yeast strain, its fruity and spicy aromas include notes of orange, banana, and peppercorns. Coriander seeds add refreshing citrus notes which meld seamlessly with the beer’s delicate malt. Horny Devil finishes with a lively carbonation and a refreshingly dry finish.

750ml bottle, no date, guessing 2022. Golden amber, fading white head. Doughy, spicy aroma with grilled peach. Coriander, white pepper, not too much clove. So it tastes. Some plums, appropriate warmth. Moderate bitterness - perhaps it's faded (as with carbonation). Not overspiced. Nice. Second glass the dough is a mite more honeyed.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Aroma is very estery with bubblegum, yeast, tons of coriander, sugar, sweet ripe fruits, and banana. Flavour is very sweet and only lightly bitter. Body is medium, a bit sticky in the mouth. Sweet and too heavy on the coriander, with bubblegum. Not the epiphany I expected considering it's Alesmith.

750 ml bottle. Nick’s 30th birthday. Watching Halloween Kills. Can’t remember where I got it from or when. Guessing it’s a few years old. Honey gold color. Creamy beige head settles to a thin cap. Aroma of mandarin orange, candi sugar and Belgian yeast. Sweet, lemony notes. Hints of honey, banana and Juicyfruit gum. A bit of coriander on backend.

Poured from the tap @ Alesmith. Clear yellow gold with small white head. Belgian yeast and esters, inoffensive and simplistic, an okay take on the style.

Bottle. A- Coriander, clove, mild orange peel, slightly malty. A- Copper gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Coriander, heavy spice, clove, mild booze, mild banana. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, spiced finish. O- Had with Thanksgiving dinner. The amount of spice was ridiculous. A good beer but the coriander and peppercorns could be tamed. I get some orange and banana but again, hard to get past the spice. A definite yeasty presence as well.

(Bottle) Amber colour, slightly hazy, with brief frothy off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of dried fruit, orange peel, apricots, mandarin, coriander, spices, honey and marzipan. Fruity, spicy, malty taste with dried fruit, apricots, mandarin, honey, coriander, spices, flowers and a mild spicy bitterness in a warming finish. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made, with lots of floral and spicy flavours. Very nice.
