0.33 l bottle at ’Café de Jaren’, bottled in November 2015. Clear, pale golden amber with a medium large, fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, fruity-grassy aroma of straw, honey, lemon and passion fruit. Slightly bitter, grassy-fruity taste of passion fruit, lemon peel, honey and straw, followed by a short, medium bitter, grassy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice, but not great.

330ml bottle, from trade with Rouhlas! Many thanks! Pours clear gold with foamy white head. Aroma is citrus, perfume and floral elements. Taste presents a strange amalgam of exotic fruit core, lime, gooseberry and lemon curd. Interesting and flavoursome.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a white head. Subtle citrusy hop aroma - VERY subtle. Medium body, carbonation is a little too high for my liking. But rather dry and again clean and easygoing with a dry, hoppy finish. 160615

Clean pale ale. Nice grassy and fruity hop aroma. Clear golden color with a lasting ring of white head and light, spotty lace. Nice, clean hop flavour too, good residual bitterness. Clean feel, slightly overly carbonated. Pretty nice one. Might be the best of the Greek beers I have tried. (*This note was written before I had the 8th Day, which was my favorite Greek beer of the trip.)

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 28 Feb 2015) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with apricots, crystal malt and canned fruit. Malty, fruity taste with notes of citrus, apricots, crystal malt, canned peaches and leafy hops in a finish with a gentle bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and highly drinkable. Quite nice.
