Bright clear amber beer, tidy off white head. Crispy palate, turning a little softer. A little creamy malt, minerals. Pleasant mild orangey hops. Finishes creamy with a carbonated nip. Well balanced and pretty drinkable.

330ml bottle to glass at The House of Beer in Rethymno. An unpasteurized, filtered beer that pours a crystal clear golden body and a dissipating white head, leaving a few patches behind. Fresh fruit hoppy aroma with notes of apricot and pine added by pale malts. Sappy taste profile bringing grapefruits and oranges on a backbone of mid-sweet malts. Smooth and lingering bittersweet tail. Easy to drink. Refreshing, session-like (14.08.2012).

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours clear gold, effervescent, with a creamy white head. Nose is bready malts with hints of toasted hay. Light to medium sweet flavor with some basic bready malts, mild toasty sugar, light biscuits, very faint grass. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Slightly tickling. Moderately sweet finish with light herbal and leafy bitterness, further notes of lightly toasted sugar and biscuits. A very easygoing beer. Not super complex, but highly drinkable.

Aroma: Cereal and grain. Musty lemon.
Appearance: Hazy amber body with a thin white head than quickly disappears. No lacing. Lively carbonation.
Taste: Diluted grainy and citrus flavours. A little metallic on the finish.
Palate: Thin, watery body. Very fizzy carbonation.
Overall: A bit bland and watery - this isn’t one I’d buy again.

Trocken dunkelhopfiger Beginn mit starker Karbonisierung. Die anfänglichen Hopfennoten sinken schnell, fruchtig, trocken, bitter, dennoch süffig. Zum Ende leider recht trocken. 9/9/10/9/10/9

Golden / amber color with a nice whiote head. Citric and floral hops with caramel malts . Flavour has a great balance between sweet caramel mats and the lovelya use of hops, very aromatic, slighlty bitter aftertaste. Perfect for Greek weather.

Bottle from Beer Factory, Athens. It pours golden yellow, with a thick off-white head. The nose is wet leaf, tangerine and toffee apple. The taste is white bread, butter, grass, wood, sweet malt, metal and some bitterness, with a dry finish. Medium body, average carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Ok, but nothing special.

33cl Bottle brought from Syros by my in-laws, thanks Kerry&Petros! Clear amber colour, slightly off white head. Nice aroma of floral hops, passionfruit, toasted malts, caramel, some citrus. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, some caramel, good floral hoppiness, fruity again, nice juicy bitter finish with some caramel. Medium bodied. That’s 3 strikes in a row for Septem imo. Really nice beers.
