Heen & Weer combines a rather sweet malty backbone and well hopped bitterness to a beautifully balanced but uncommon Belgian style Abbey Triple. Ideal companion for a beef stew. Flavour indication: Malts, ripe yellow fruit, citrus Translates as Back & Forth

330ml bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with lots of sediment floating around and a small, off-white head that fully dissipates. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, orange, ripe fruit and spice. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, orange peel, coriander and yeast with a dry, bitter, alcohol warming finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Not bad.

Thanks Matej J.! Misty.Sweet, very ripe fruit and maltiness, quince, oxidation. Candy, huge herbal bitterness for the style, oxidation good maltiness, solid beer, mostly candyish, caramelly and bitter. Really atypical, long light bitter aftertaste. Quite interesting.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Dark orange with a very thin white head and lots of yeast particles. Aroma is yeasty with some sour apple/ apple cider hints. Taste is medium bitter and spicy. Nice take on a tripel.

Shared 11.2 oz. bottle. Best by December 2018. Pours a hazy amber hue with a weak, thin white head. Lots of particles floating around. Aroma of malt, coriander. Taste is very sweet malt, coriander, citrus notes, caramel. Seems to be well oxidized. Very sweet malty finish. Did not finish.

Donkergeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is zoet en krachtig hoppig met iets van abrikoos, perzik en wat vanille. Heel goed.

Honey orange, unclear. Moderate white head. Low retention. Little lacing. Sweet malty aroma. Honey, candy, starch, fine fruity & spicy yeast. Medium to full body. Big malty flavour, drier than flavour. Candy, pear, spicy, light to medium bitterness. Well made.

Hazy, floaters, amber colored, no head. Aroma is quite sweet, caramel, nutty, some brown sugar, spice, grassy notes. Taste is medium to very sweet malt and caramel, some brown sugar, bit nutty, some carob, coriander, bit honey, some spice, grassy and spicy, medium+ (somewhat unpleasant) bitterness, dryish finish, alcohol with some warmth. Medium+ bodied, soft- carbonation, oily to sticky. Starts too sweet, ends with aggressive bitterness. (bottle, Pivoteka Zagreb)
