Aroma os grapes some smoke some plums some other fruit syrupy and cocoa. Pain au chocolat. Taste is dry but balanced bitter forest and some plum stuff. Drinkable but complex and nice.

Bottle. Darkest brown, low brown cream. Toasted/burned hasslenut and cocoa aroma, hay, peat. Medium body, dry, green, mossy, spongy, Pain au Chocolate, roasty, a bit ashen. Not harmonious. Sticky chocolate aftertaste.

Bottle, many thanks RW80! Brown color with beige head. Aroma is ovomaltine, fatty, pain au chocolat. Taste is milk chocolate, pain au chocolat, mossy, a bit green. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not bad, but not too great either.

Bottle. Color: Very dark brown, almost black. Thin light brown head. Taste: Dark roasted malt, dark chocolate, nicely combined with a decent amount of smoke. Bittery mouthfeel in the finish. Medium to above medium body, slightly below average carbonation. No harsh flavors, nice balance, some complexity. Very tasty one.

European Local Swap 03/17, thanks RW80. Süßlich rauchiger, dunkel herb-malziger Start. Von Beginn an intensiv nach Bitterschokolade, runde Karbonisierung, ausbalanciert mit rauchigen und Espressonoten. Geringe Süße, mit der Zeit leicht alkoholisch, vollmundig, harmonisch. Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 32A/20A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch (unknown - BBF unknown). AROMA: medium roasted malty-sweet aroma with a coffee and cream character. faint smoke note. slight dried grapes presence. APPEARANCE: dark Brown color with a ruby body against light. medium dark beige head with good retention. leg formation. TASTE: medium roasted malty-sweet flavor with notes of dark chocolate, slight coffee, prunes and very faint smoky background. meidum bitterness with a dry, roasted and medium bitter finish. PALATE: medium to medium-high body with medium carbonation. slight alcohol warmth. OVERALL: nice double american-like porter with na added note of complexity from the smoked malt.

Marrón oscura, buena espuma, buen aspecto. Aroma malteado y ahumado. En boca es suntuosa, con buen cuerpo. Alcohol bastante disimulado, aunque aparece en el post-trago. Malteada, madera, frutos secos. Chocolate como elemento predominante. Y un delicado toque ahumado, nada exagerado, completando una cerveza muy equilibrada y agradable que se disfruta.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks troubles. Black with a tan head. Aroma of roast, smoke, chocolate. Great sweet smoky flavor with sausages, caramel, chocolate. Medium to full-bodied. Very good.
