Tap at the Scrapyard. Semi clear golden pour with a white head. Light malty notes, some hay and grains appear with just a hint of bitterness. Light bodied but not particularly crisp, it’s more on the sweeter side.

Aroma of pale malt, grains, fruity notes, some citrus, floral notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light bitter finish. Nice Helles, stronger aroma than usual for the style.

Can from Wather Mai. Pale hazy golden, white foam. Baked goods and citrus aroma. Medium light body, light sparkly, fruity yeast, light bread, citrus, light tropical hop notes, quick sparkly finish. Not sure Günther would have enjoyed this one so much.

Pale gold with a frothy, white head. Lime aroma over a low-level graininess. Taste is mildly bitter and slightly citric, finishing the same with lingering lime. Thin body, moderate carbonation, mildly watery texture. Very simple. The persistent lime grows annoying. Poor take on a Helles which is, admittedly, not a very exciting style to begin with.

(Keg at Two Chefs, 20230416) The beer poured pale golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, herbalness and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, herbalness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was grassy and bitter. Nice.

Can from Bier Tempel. *Mild grainy beginning. Fruity with grainy parts, floral with a subtle crisp grainy back. Sessionable nice.

Licht troebel lichtgeel bier met schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en fruitig met iets van citrus, ananas en wat gras. Gewoon een heel goed bier wat eigenlijk meer weg heeft van een IPA.
