Corked bottle from Cgarvieuk. Amber color. Faded hops and dried fruit in the aroma. Alcoholic flavor, low on carbon. Remains of dried fruit, red fruit, vanilla cake. Upcoming sherry flavors. Probably past its peak.

Bottle shared at BDSB - picked up at the Utobeer. The nose has a bit of varnish, stewed fruits, old wood. Medium to big sweet flavour, a bit boost, some pear, old peach and marmalade, bread, hints of toffee. Full bodied, oily, soft. Warming finish, some apple sauce, more stewed fruits, alcohol, pear. Pretty decent.

Bottle thanks to cgarvieuk. Lumpy amber pour with no head. Sherry-like aromas. Boozy, bit of cardboard. Taste is more of the same. Thin finish. Glad to have tried.

Bottle shared at the Commons, from a lucky dip on reluctant scoopers charity draw, 09/11/14 #1847/3200. Hazed orange amber with moderate off white spotting and edgeing. Nose is dark fruit rinds, dates, earthy, woody, bitter citric notes. Taste comprises mellow fruits, dark toffee, vanilla, spice, raisens, prunes. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light alcohol. Ok quad, fairly mellow and easy drinking but no game changer. Perhaps hasn’t aged well ? Not bad - just nothing too exciting.

Bottle at home. Pous copper, fruity nose, grapes? Sweet fruity, vanilla died off fairly quickly when aging.
