330ml bottle @Domus Birrae (Rome). Pours cloudy golden with a big and persistent white head. Aroma is very hoppy, fruity and spiced, light citrus, orange zest, pepper, nice. Flavour is light sweet with a medium to high bitter end. Medium body, crisp, medium carbonation. Funny.

Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Hazy pale golden, rich firm head. Spicy floral hops dominate the aroma. Dry with light-medium body and crisp mouthfeel. Grainy crisp malt, floral spicy hops, really bitter finish. Relaxed, distinct and refreshing.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, thick, firm, fully lasting, fairly lacing, white head. Grassy, hoppy aroma, slightly funky yeasty overtones, hints of unripe peach, a touch of white pepper. Taste is dry hoppy, slightly grassy, minimally sweet malty basis, a tart touch, peppery spicy yeasty overtones, hints of unripe peach, white pepper. Very reductionistic and simplified, almost agelessly elegant, Belgian alternative draft to US engineering cleanliness.

Bottle bought @ Etre. Pours beautiful hazy pale golden with a big frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of soapy trace in the glass. Smell is slightly malty and floral with wheat crackers, freshly baked white bread, hay, dried yellow flowers, minerals, lilacs, fresh air and lemon peal. Taste is bitter, herbal, floral and tiny earthy. Mouthfeel is soft, dry, astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with freshly baked white bread, hay, dandelions, sage, minerals and lemon peal. Solid bitter thirst-quencher. Very tasty...

330 ml, bottled 26/02/2015, from Etre Gourmet.
Straw colored, hazy body, with a big, frothy, rocky, thickly lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of yeast, citrus, grass, some sweet berries, some candy.
Tastes of citrus, grass, herbs, honey, sweet fruits, some yeast.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes bitter, dry, zesty herbal, fruity, a bit piney, a bit yeasty.
Very nice. Greatly balanced, with enough bitterness, interesting hops, a lovely, controlled sweetness and subtle yeast notes. Overall not my favourite De la Senne ale, but another very drinkable, pleasant one.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Milky yellow colour, soapy white head. Aroma of pale malts, lemon, yeast, dust, grass, resin, sulphur. Flavour is light spicy, dry, malty, yeasty, lemon, grass, pine, light sulphur, firm bitter grassy and light herbal finish, light floral. Light bodied. Doesn’t stand out from other Senne beers, they are starting to all taste the same to me. Still good though.
