Aroma of toasted malt, caramel, red fruits, berries. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light to moderate bitter finish. Drinkable, but like the other La Real beers it just fails to transcend mediocrity.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, brown colour with light ruby glimmer and small, frothy, fading, minimally lacing, beige head. Rather weak, leafy and fruity aroma, hints of red berries and corresponding shrubs. Taste is leafy, herbal spicy, slightly fruity, hints of red berries, corresponding shrubs, tea, minimally chocolately malty background; minimally watery throughout. A bit anaemic overall.

Bottle split at the Fiddler, Den Haag, 26/09/15. Dark chestnut brown topped with a decent tan swirl. Nose is musty wood, toffee, dark fruits, light peppery spice. Taste comprises cocoa powder, dates, toffee, biscuit, spice, ripe fruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough.

Bottle at the Fiddler brewpub, Den Haag. Lightly hazy amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light, semi dry and has a fine crispness. Little caramel. Ripe and bruised fruits. Touch of peach. Tea tang. Minerals. Light crisp finish. Fairly drinkable.

Bottle at Huppel. Pours cloudy brown with an off white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, overripe dark fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle @ Van Moll Brewpub. Nice dark red color, average to medium sized beige head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, a touch of dark fruits. Taste malts, dark fruits, quite bitter, brown malts. Average to medium body, quite dry earthy finish, medium carbonation.

Brown color with a frothy tan head with medium lasting. Aroma has notes of light caramel, floral notes and toasted malts. Flavor has a decent bitterness, toasted malts, some spices and caramel. Bitery final with a good presence of some red fruits.
