A beer with a flowerly, hoppy and fruity nose, although malt is never far away. Fruity hop is evident in the taste and there is a consistent bitterness.

Pint from the bar to finish the festival. A straight down the line bitter. Nothing great and nothing offensive.

Decent enough bitter. A little on the sweetness side, some subdued leafy hops, berries, a lick of caramel malts. Easygoing if simple. Had at the Golden Fleece in the City.

Cask at The Anderson. It pours clear amber with a medium, fluffy white head. The aroma is nutty, bitter - sweet, brown bread, caramel, wood and rivita. The taste is dry, bitter-sweet, nutty, woody, leather, earth, rivita, light tannin, twiggy, chewy, toothy and a touch of caramel with a dry finish. Average body and soft carbonation. Standard bitter tbh. Fair.

From cask at Grapes in Mayfair after getting a haircut at Geo F. Trumper 18.10.22. Copper amber. Dense and persistent beige head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of pale malt, crystal malt, rye bread crusts and slightly herbal hops. Good!

29/4/2022. On the Harwich Ale Trail. Cask at the United Services Club, Dovercourt. Pours clear dark amber/brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of fruit, caramel, malt, sweet biscuit. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Quite watery, average carbonation. So so.

Cask at Three Cups, half pint shared with Finn. Bright copper coloured body, fair lacing from an off-white, stable head. Moderate bread and caramel-fruity nose. Malt-forward taste character of caramel and dried fruits. Fair bittersweet ending, clean, but a bit thin on the swallow. Quite alright. (Bedford 18.11.2021).
