Clear deep brown - amber beer, small off white head. Palate is semi dry with light minerally crispness. Papery dry malt and a hint of dark chocolate. Dry finish. Dull as day old dishwater.

Bottle from Sourced Market, St Pancras. Deepish clear brown beer with a very thin beige head. Malty aroma, brown malt aroma. Yep a brown ale type lager. It’s ok, I’m just not a massive fan of this style of beer. It’s a bit dirty and as I say, Im just not a fan of these flavours, brown malt and not a lot else.

Bottle at home in London. Pours clear, metallic gold with a sturdy, white foam head. Yep, some nice grainy malts on the nose, some light toast, toasty sugar. Medium sweet flavor with some dry caramel, toast, bread, light hay, grains, subtle bitterness, honey. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sticky sweet on the finish with more toast, caramel, bread, grain, dirty hay, mild earth. Relatively dry, too, which alleviates some of the sugary sweetness. Mediocre to average overall.
