Handbottled at the brewpub. Clear, amber colored beer. Sweet aroma of fruits, malts, bubble gum, caramel, hints of licorice. Flavor of malts, bubble gum, sweet and quite bitter, full bodied but a bit unbalanced due to high alcohol content. Still quite good bock.

Tap at the brewery. Both aroma and taste slightly oxidized, might just be weird maltiness. Full malty beer, light caramel. Bitterness is moderate to light high, long dry slightly grassy finish. Clear amber colour.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy red amber colour. Small stable tan head. Good malty flavour. Mildly spicy hop flavour. Good mild bitterness to round off. Very flavourful for a Bock, and quite clean.

Draught at the brew pub on May 20, 2009Hazy copper color, off-white head. Sweet, malty, buttery, alcohol scent. Malty, sweet, grainy, alcohol taste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness. A bit too much evident alcohol for me, but several in my party liked it a lot.
