Has a moderately deep yellow brown hue. Some slight red tinges. Not an overly strong aroma of some nutty malts and slight hops. Smells a bit spicy?? Begins light and poignantly hoppy. There is a battle between the hops and the malt, neither being able to coexist peaceably. Some sips are a dry medium sweet/medium spicy maris malt and then there is a light slightly bitter hops flavor. This is certainly an interesting recipe. There is a bittersweet finish, and the flavor never really jumps out at you. I eagerly agree that this beer is good but has nothing special about it to make me go out of my way to drink it again.

The aroma is sweet and malty. The color is a clear amber with an OK head. The flavor is flat, very malty, pretty sweet, and only slightly bitter. A very average ale.

Light amber color. Quite nice hop aroma, a bit metallic. Poor and dry taste, some light caramel and malt. Some hop and honey at the end.

Orange color. Small head doesn't last. Aroma of hops. Bitter taste with some sweetness. One dimensional; good but not much there.

pale amber with tan head. A good bitter, medium hop finish...sometimes tinny, other batches not

Pleasant brownish beer. Its flavour is much like a summery bitter with a heavy hopped finish. In my opinion Young's beers are far better than Fullers.

Creamy head; slightly hazy; chewy, earthy nose. A fairly candyish, cloying sweetness really detracted from everything else that this beer was trying to accomplish.
