It is a regular beer, nothing extraordinary. The taste is malty, few hop, watery side, lack of personality. It is ok for hot days, trying this beer at Oaxaca and others places in Mexico, during my differents trips there.

There are some excellent beers south of the border and this one is only found waaaayy south. Yucatan only as far as I know. Malty, rich, Munich Malt. Daddowdalls and I get along well on this one. The Corona Company does indeed make a beer - but it's not Corona.

At a restaurant in Mexico City: somewhat dirty and metallic amber lager. Side by side with Montejo, Montejo had more and better flavor, which is not what you would expect. Not my favorite.

Can (thanks Jukka). Kind of amber colour with some brownish hints to it, mediumsized off-white head to it. Aroma is kind of crisp malts with some grains, mild toasted notes as well as some slight earthy notes. Flavour is rather grainy witha quite sweet touch to it. Smooth, but somehow the sweetish notes are strange and feel a bit unclean. Bulky, but easy to drink. Watery palate.

Not terrible. Some light rust aroma with a little mash malt. Amber pour. Tangy finish. Bottle at the Celestina in Coyoacan.

(Bottle) Pours clear mid brown with red hints and no head. Little aroma, slightly bread and candy. Light body with good carbonation. Rather thin taste but nice dark toffee notes and a hint of bitterness in finish. Entirely drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. A- Grain, watery. A- Dark amber color, hazy liquid, minimal head. T- Grains, corn, slightly malty. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- Not much to remember here. Maybe just a tinge better than the average Mexican pale lager.

Light brown, has a toasty/toffeeish note. Medium body for an industrial dark. Ok, one of the better macro darks in Mexico because it is more balanced and unlike the more famous ones it doesn’t have any tartness in the finish.
